No doubt this kid is several standard deviations to the right in visual-spatial intelligence.

@George-K said in Fiscal Approaches - California vs Texas: That video was fact-checked. Patently false because the governor of Texas is in a wheelchair, and he would not be jogging on a nature trail. You're welcome. That occurred to me as well.

That would never happen in Joe Biden's America.

@Jolly said in LaPierre: Hinted at it in the starter. Too long in the leadership role. Forgot who he was and who paid his salary. Got too big for his britches. Very common occurrence. I’ve experienced it myself in a role I stayed too long in. We certainly see it in Washington.

Finally watched it. Was curious after the previous thread (link below). Short version? Popcorn fun. Ultimately the action scenes (the train in the beginning, some of the parade, the chase in Tangier, the runway in the rain) were really fun and reminded me of the old impossible Indy chases. The music was basically the original score from the 80s, and great, too. The story was really pretty dumb and forced, almost like they just needed a reason to make another movie with the action/production quality of the previous films. The ending? I'm glad they changed it but even the one they went with was pretty silly, even for fiction. Still, I had fun and that was the whole point! https://nodebb.the-new-coffee-room.club/topic/20720/indiana-jones-time-to-let-it-die/79

@Jolly said in How many arrests?: As I wrote in another thread...The further we get from Jan6th, the more that people know that riot was in no way an insurrection. Regardless, all mobs become very stupid once the stampede starts.

I've seen that. Well, not a "genital rupture," but a perforated colon. I'm surprised she died. I wonder if the water from the exhaust of the jet ski is what caused it rather than just hitting the river at speed.
